 Did you read the majority opinion? They specifically state that separation of church and state is something they think is not intended to stop e.g. a US state from establishing an official religion, just the federal government. That’s unfortunate IMO. I just don’t want the religious schools to overtake government finances and to not let the public schools not to get enough funding. I just want the government to Official LGBT Stitch I Licked It So It’s Mine Shirt equalize it enough so one doesn’t get more than the other. But at the same time, I really don’t understand why private schools want public funding when their tuition rates cover most of their expenses. I feel like it’s just a scheme for them to get more money. Idk but I just don’t have a proper feeling about it...I really hope that this SCOTUS ruling opens up a whole can of worms for religious schools, like LGBTQ+ rights and submitting tax forms, that they will regret it down the line. I am proud my school did not let any of that happen and abided by all these. We had rumors of things like this happening and they all stopped. Granted it was a public school it was also Texas in 2001-2005. I can wait to see the first Muslim or the first Satanist Church apply for funds.
